- 1/4 cup yogurt

- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 1 tsp jeera
- 5 kashmiri red chilies
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 5 cloves
- 1 mace
- 1 stone flower
- 1 tsp kasurimethi
- Curry
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 green chillies
- as required Finely chopped coriander leaves
- As per requirement Finely chopped pudina
- 1 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp sugar or jaggery
- 2 tomatoes pureed
- 2 tsp fresh cream
- 6-7 ginger juliennes
Instructions to make to make Walnut Chicken (semi gravy)
- Marinate the chicken with ingredients mentioned under Marination
- Prepare a course powder of the walnut Chicken masala by dry roasting & grinding the ingredients mentioned under masala powder
- Then to prepare the gravy, take kadai,add oil,fry the onions until brown.
Then add ginger garlic paste,green chillies & saute until raw smell goes. - Then add marinated chicken. Cover & cook for 5 mins.
- Then add the prepared masala powder & mix. Add ½ cup water.cook for 5 mins
- Then add tomato puree & adjust salt.
- Add coriander leaves & pudina. Adjust salt & balance by adding jaggery or sugar.
- Finish off with fresh cream & ginger juliennes.
