- Add salt and rice,let it par boiled and drain out the water
- Now heat a pan add cumin seed bay leaf and whole garam masalas
- Add onion chopped and saute well
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute
- Add Potatoes and saute well
- Add chicken pieces and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
- Now add red chilli Powder and tomato
- Saute till oil separates add sugar and biryani masala powder and switch off
- Now take a wide pot spread a lair of rice add chicken pieces and Potatoes
- Cover it with a lair of rice again add kesar soaked milk and kewra essence
- Sprinkle ghee and biryani masala and keep on low heat
- Serve it with raita
